get a bike, rod.

today i learned that i'm the governor's neighbor, well, kinda sorta.

i was inspired to do some research when, after a long bike ride up to the bahá'i temple today, (that's the photo from my phone, by the way - creepy pink sky.)
i saw blagojevich jogging down leland avenue, toward damen avenue. that's less than a block away from my house! he was being followed by what appeared to be a plain-clothed state police officer on a bike.

turns out the governor lives in ravenswood manor which is about half a mile west of my place on ravenswood.

of course, after we passed, we thought of all the great things we could've said to him. i wished i'd said, 'get a bike'.

ted says that he wished that he had asked him if he knows barak obama.

what would you have said/asked?

I would have asked, "What's up with your hair, Blago?"

oh wow, that's in my neighborhood too. What's his address? I woulda asked him where's a good place to get a burger. I wonder what he would say.

i think he has one of those posh places with the river in his back yard...
i think about riding over there to look for the 'unmarked car' to figure out where it is.

I knew that was him! I saw him jogging on ravenswood with a guy on a bike following but nobody believed me. Not like it would have been such a great lie.

He was dressed in all black, like an evil jogger from some bad moive where a bunch of rag tag kids have to "out jog" an evil jogging team in order to save the rec center.
